By using this website or booking a service with Northshore Basin, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Description of the service

Northshore Basin provides three fixed seasonal services for residential pools: the Spring Opening Visit, the Seasonal Maintenance Plan, and the Winterization & Closing Premium Package, each described in full on our services page.

Eligibility / user obligations

You confirm that you are the homeowner or are authorized to arrange pool services at the property, and that any access or safety information you give us is accurate.

Bookings & payments

Visits are confirmed once a date and service are agreed. Payment terms are confirmed at booking. Our Payment & Refund Policy below governs cancellations and refunds, and our Cancellation Policy covers rescheduling.

Intellectual property

The content, layout and branding on this site belong to Northshore Basin Ltd. and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse this website, attempt to access it by automated means beyond normal browsing, or submit false information through our contact form.

Disclaimer

The content on this site is provided by Northshore Basin Ltd. for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for an in-person assessment of your specific pool and equipment. We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate, but services, availability and prices may change, and the final scope of any visit is confirmed individually. Seasonal work such as closing is designed to help reduce the risk of freeze or equipment damage; it cannot promise that damage will not occur, since weather and equipment condition vary. Our liability for any claim relating to this site or our services is capped at the amount paid for the service in question, to the extent permitted by law.

Returns & Refund Policy

Scope: this policy covers payments made for our three seasonal services.

Eligibility: if a visit has not yet taken place, you may request a refund by contacting us at least 48 hours before the scheduled date. Once a technician has attended and work has begun, the visit is considered delivered and is not eligible for a full refund, though we will address any part of the work that was not completed as described.

How to request: email [email protected] or call +1 403-298-6174, including your name, the booked service and the visit date.

Processing: approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

Non-refundable cases: visits already completed, and cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, are not eligible for a refund, though rescheduling is usually possible — see our full Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Cancellation Policy

How to cancel: contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone at +1 403-298-6174 during our working hours, Monday – Friday, 08:30–17:30.

Cancellation windows: cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled visit are not charged. Later cancellations may be charged in part, reflecting route and scheduling commitments already made.

Rescheduling: we would rather move your visit to a new date than cancel it outright, and will try to offer an alternative slot in the same season where possible.

Cancellations by us: if weather, equipment failure or capacity forces us to cancel a confirmed visit, we will offer a full refund or a rebooked date at no extra charge. See the full Cancellation & Refund Policy for additional detail.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of Alberta.
