Our Process

Six steps that take a request from first message to a documented seasonal visit.

1

Step 1: Initial contact

You reach out by form, phone or email with the service you need and a rough idea of your pool and equipment.

2

Step 2: Short pool review

We ask a few questions about pool size, equipment age and access, either over the phone or during a brief site look.

3

Step 3: Scheduling

A visit window is confirmed based on the season; spring openings and fall closings are grouped by area to keep routes efficient.

4

Step 4: The visit

Our technician follows the written checklist for that service — equipment check, water testing, cover work as needed.

5

Step 5: Written log

You receive a note of what was checked, balanced or flagged, so there is a record beyond a verbal summary.

6

Step 6: Next-season reminder

Before your next seasonal milestone — the following opening or closing — we reach out to confirm the date.

Why we work this way

Fewer surprises

A short review before scheduling means the visit itself rarely turns up something we did not expect.

Routes that make sense

Grouping spring and fall visits by area keeps our schedule realistic and avoids rushed stops.

A record you can check

The written log means you are not relying on memory for what was done three months ago.

Reminders instead of silence

We would rather reach out ahead of your next seasonal visit than let a date slip past.

What stays the same every time

The checklist for each service does not change from visit to visit, technician to technician. That consistency is what we can control; the condition of a ten-year-old pump or an unusually hot July is not. When something outside the checklist comes up, we note it and talk it through with you rather than making a decision for you.

Quick answers about the process

How long does a typical visit take?

Openings and maintenance stops usually run one to two hours; closings tend to take two to three.

Do I need to be home?

Not necessarily, as long as we have agreed access to the pool and equipment pad beforehand.

What if I need to reschedule?

Let us know as early as you can; our cancellation policy covers the details.

Is the written log emailed to me?

Yes, it is sent to the email on file shortly after the visit is completed.

Start with a short conversation

What we ask you to prepare

The process above runs smoother when we have a few basics ahead of the first visit: clear access to the pool and equipment pad, a note of the pump, filter and heater brand if you know it, and the current cover type. None of this is required to get started — we can work it out together during the initial contact — but having it ready tends to shorten that first conversation.

For returning customers, the process is shorter still. Once we have serviced a pool for a season, the scheduling coordinator already has the access notes and equipment details on file, so booking the next seasonal visit is usually a short message or call rather than a full review.
