Purpose of this document

This Service & Installation Terms page sets out the detailed terms that apply to the seasonal services booked through Northshore Basin, in addition to our general Terms of Use.

Company details

Booking and confirmation

A visit is confirmed once we have agreed a service, a date window and payment terms with you, by email or phone. Confirmation is sent in writing before the visit.

Access and site conditions

You are responsible for providing clear access to the pool, equipment pad and cover on the day of the visit. If our technician cannot access the site as arranged, the visit may need to be rescheduled, and a missed-access charge may apply.

Scope of each service

Each of our three services covers the items listed on the relevant service page — Openings & Closings or Maintenance & Service. Work outside that scope, such as part replacement, repairs or construction coordination, is identified during the visit and quoted separately before it begins.

Materials and parts

Standard pool chemicals used to balance water during a visit are included in the listed price. Replacement parts, such as a failed pump seal or a damaged cover, are not included and are quoted individually.

Weather and rescheduling

Severe weather, such as heavy rain or an early freeze, may require us to reschedule a visit for safety or equipment reasons. We will contact you as soon as practical with a new date.

Warranty of workmanship

We stand behind the work completed at each visit to the standard described in our checklist for that service. This is not a warranty on the pool, equipment or cover itself, which may be affected by age, weather or prior condition beyond our control.

Liability

Our liability in connection with a service visit is capped at the amount paid for that visit, to the extent permitted under the laws of Alberta, Canada.

Relationship to other policies

Cancellations and refunds for services booked under these terms are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy and the anchored sections of our Terms of Use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these service terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
